Our life during COVID-19 Pandemic

Our lifestyle during COVID-19 Pandemic (Indian context) It was the month of Feb- March when our school, college, office, factories and shops were running. We were living a normal life as always. During these couple of months, we used to hear Coronavirus as a disease, not as an epidemic. Initially, it was spreading in China at a wholesale food Market in Wuhan after that some other western European countries and in the South Asian countries. Our Government and Citizens were not too much concerned about this virus because that time it was not a pandemic. We considered it just a common virus but we knew that it spread via trade, tourism and direct communication and it can spread even in India and assured ourself that those people who are infected by this virus are directly communicated to the Chinese people or trade with China. If anyone from India went to China and other European countries and when it came back would be checked up during entering here. So we were assuming that it would not spread in India.

Mid- March some cases of Coronavirus were presenting in India. Now people started fearing being infected and now they forbade their family members, friends and relatives to go outside. And now most of the people confirmed that this is not a common virus but a dangerous virus. The Government was going to take strict action and on 24 March 2020, the Government of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days
Since 25 March certain orders had to follow:
•Shut down the shops or open for just a few hours
•No one could go outside the home except only on emergency
•Shut down shopping malls, theatres, schools, colleges, sports clubs, offices and other institutions
•Shut down many hospitals and medical stores except few
•Maintain social distancing and no direct communication
•Sanitise hand or wash properly
•Use mask properly

and people were started to follow these orders and one who ignores to doing so were beaten by Policemen and fined also. Government and Administration were very strict on the first lockdown period because they had to control this worse condition at any cost at a one side Our Policemen were maintaining order and on the other Doctors and health workers were curing infected patients. April month was very tough for everyone and everyone was fighting with this pandemic COVID-19 especially for the Police, Doctors and Health workers

The second phase of lockdown began from 15 April, now our almost worked started from home. Students started taking online classes they could not go outside for playing and compel to play games on mobiles for fun. The Guardian of the home had to face more difficult situations because they had to earn money for livelihood and also care for their health. Saving money is compulsory for everyone. Bank transactions were limited. Most of the work occurred on online mode. The housewife had to face many difficulties to care for their family members. Doctors did their duty continuously for saving patient's life meanwhile lots of doctors, health workers and policemen had lost their life

The huge number of migrated workers stayed in New Delhi, Mumbai and some other big cities but after lockdown transportation had been closed and they could not go outside and their home at this condition government had managed the transport, shelter and fooding for them and reach them to their homes. The lifestyle of poor and weaker sections became harsher because of lack of work and in these conditions some social workers, students and some celebrities came forward to support them financially.

Care for old people was most necessary because their body is vulnerable and they might easily be infected by this virus, therefore, they were suggested to avoid walk outside
After June Government had ordered for unlocking and people could move to other places, open shops and other institutions were opened for sometimes but even in Sep there is not any chance to live a normal life as earlier because COVID-19 pandemic had not ended now so we had to wait for its permanent cure or vaccine, therefore, we had to follow Govt order, support doctors and health workers, care for ourself, sanitize ourself, stay in the home, study online and care for everyone
